Create a design variation of your page

Split testing is a method for comparing two or more versions of content to determine which performs best. It is used interchangeably with AB testing to refer to the use of conducting controlled experiments to improve conversion rates.

On a more technical level, A/B/n refers to using two or more variations competing against each other. Split refers to the splitting the traffic equally between the existing variations.

• First you create and name a new experiment.

• Then identify the primary page you want to run the experiment (ie, when someone visits this page, you want to redirect them).

• Then you select 2 or more page versions you want page visitors to see instead.

• For testing versions, we recommend duplicating your primary page as “destination 1” as the control. Then either build a new page or duplicate it again and make a few changes to the copy, images.

Protip: Make sure to name the pages something user friendly and not something like “test B.2.Mv6”
